A special court in Muzaffar Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh has sentenced a 50-year-old man to 20 years in the case of raping his 17-year-old girl.

A special court in Muzaffar Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh has sentenced a 50-year-old man to 20 years in the case of raping his 17-year-old girl. The case is three years old. A court constituted under the Poxo Act on Saturday convicted the person. Judge Sanjeev Kumar Tiwari also imposed a fine of Rs 56,000 on him. According to special counsel Dinesh Kumar Sharma, the police had registered a case against him on 18 February 2016. In the complaint, he was accused of raping his daughter for about three-four months and threatening her for not giving any information about the incident.
