If needed, we can feed every person of India: Minister of Punjab Government

Despite the lockdown, the Punjab government has purchased 90 lakh metric tonnes of wheat in 19 days. Punjab aims to purchase 135 lakh metric tonnes of wheat. The government will bear the expenses of their travel by laborers special trains and has allocated Rs 35 crore for this. The first labor special train carrying 1,200 migrant workers from Jalandhar railway station in Punjab to Manglawar left for Jharkhand.
