Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi bluntly, Muslims need not worry about any law
Union Minister for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi says that Muslims need not worry about any law as their social, religious and constitutional rights are protected. He also stressed on Sunday that the "fake" propaganda being run by some political parties over the amended Citizenship Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC) would be exposed and truth would prevail. Naqvi has made a point of reassuring the Muslim community at a time when there are protests against CAA and NRC in many parts of the country and many political parties and groups are alleging that the CAA is "anti-Muslim". The Union minister said to the "PTI-language", "Muslims in India are not living under compulsion, but living with their commitment." Their social, religious and constitutional rights are fully protected. "He also said," Tolerance and harmony are embedded in the DNA of India and Indians. " Naqvi said, "How can the Prime Minister w
