This batsman took 'life' to play in T20 World Cup, stormy century in Ranji Trophy!

Vadodara In the first match of Ranji Trophy, Mumbai batsmen have created a storm against Baroda. First Mumbai opener Prithvi Shaw scored 202 runs in just 179 balls and now his captain Suryakumar Yadav scored 102 runs in just 70 balls. Suryakumar Yadav scored a century in his century innings with the help of 12 fours and 5 sixes. The Mumbai captain's strike rate was more than 140, which is also considered very high in T20 cricket. Because of this innings, his team declared innings for 409 runs in the second innings.

Suryakumar is consistently doing well

Suryakumar Yadav has been performing tremendously for a long time. In the Vijay Hazare Trophy, Suryakumar Yadav scored 226 runs at an average of 113 and his strike rate was 154.79. In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Suryakumar performed well with the bat. In this tournament, Suryakumar scored 392 runs at an average of 56. This time too, he scored at a strike rate of over 150.

Harbhajan is advocating for giving chance to Suryakumar

Let me tell you that off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has said many times to give Suryakumar Yadav a place in the T20 team. He feels that Suryakumar Yadav is an expert in making quick runs in the middle order which can be beneficial for Team India in the T20 World Cup. However, the entry in Suryakumar's T20 team is looking difficult. Actually, Team India already has many batsmen in the middle order. Shreyas Iyer is looking certain to play at number four and like Suryakumar, Manish Pandey, who has scored runs in many tournaments, is waiting for the chance. However, if Suryakumar continues to perform like this, perhaps the selectors may be forced to consider his name.
