CM Yogi Adityanath directed to take action against the guilty policemen

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath returned on Sunday evening from Banda and summoned officers of the Home and Police Department. He inquired about the police action and security arrangements of the victim family in the Unnao case.

According to sources, the Chief Minister took detailed information from Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Kumar Awasthi and ADG Law and Order PV Ramasastri about the actions related to the Unnao case. He directed to take action against the negligent policemen in this case and provide protection to the victim's family. The Chief Minister said that if the eligible beneficiaries in the concerned Gram Panchayat are intentionally denied the benefits of government schemes, then investigation should be taken in this matter and action should be taken against the culprits.

Earlier, the Chief Minister had sent two cabinet ministers of the government, Swami Prasad Maurya and Kamalrani Varun, to Unnao to meet the victim's family. Both ministers have informed the Chief Minister about the family situation of the victim's family. The Chief Minister has already given instructions to allot the financial assistance of 25 lakh rupees to the victim's family and to allot two Prime Minister's houses.
