New Delhi: Finnish company HMD Global, which sells Nokia branded smartphones, today refreshed its feature phone segment with Nokia 106 in India for Rs 1,299.

This device will be available in dark brown on mobile retailers and Nokia.com/phones.

Nokia 106 has a battery that comes with talk time of up to 15.7 hours and standby time up to 21 days.

"India is an important feature phone market, where the consumer wants outstanding battery life, simple and great stability to use the interface.Nokia phones have their options and we are happy to present Nokia 106 and continue connectivity for millions of people. Here, consumers are here, "said Ajay Mehta, Vice Chairman and Country Head, HMD Global, in a statement.

Users can also use the Micro-USB charger to power Nokia 106.

The device comes with the classic Snake Zenzia game and can store up to 2,000 contacts.

There is a LED flashlight, FM radio and option to store 500 LED messages.

The company said that Nokia 106 is a polycarbonate body, in which the color inherent means that the color moves with the material, which reduces the scratches.
