UN holds referendum on CAA and NRC: Mamata Banerjee

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday launched a major attack on the BJP amidst a nationwide uproar over the citizenship law. He said that BJP was established in 1980 and is seeking our citizenship documents of 1970. Mamta Banerjee said at the Kolkata rally that if the BJP has courage, it should hold a referendum on the revised citizenship law and the NRC under the supervision of the United Nations.

Mamta Banerjee said at a Kolkata rally that we are not living at the mercy of others in this country. Mamta Banerjee said in the rally that BJP is buying hats for its workers who are wearing their properties to damage a particular community and damage their properties.

He said that the BJP wants to make the amended Citizenship Act a fight between Hindus and Muslims.
